Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

IT Jobs Daily helps job seekers discover verified IT openings and helps recruiters submit listings for review. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We process data as the operator of this Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Usage events: job views, share clicks, and apply clicks (first-party analytics). We may store truncated user agent and hashed IP for abuse prevention — not for advertising profiles.
  • Recruiter submissions: name, work email, optional phone, company details, job content, plan selection, and optional payment proof uploads required to review a listing.
  • Job reports: reason, optional message, and optional reporter email. Reporter identity is never shown publicly.
  • Staff accounts: email and profile metadata for authenticated admin users managed by the operator.
  • Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile tokens verified server-side on public forms.

2. How we use information

  • Publish, verify, schedule, and promote job listings.
  • Measure listing performance and operate the staff dashboard.
  • Respond to reports, support requests, and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • Process manual payment verification for paid listing plans.

3. Sharing

We use infrastructure processors such as Supabase (database, auth, storage) and Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile, edge delivery). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users from clear fraud or harm.

4. Retention

  • Raw analytics events: about 90 days, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Rejected recruiter submissions: about 180 days.
  • Payment proof files: about 90 days after resolution.
  • Resolved job reports: about 365 days.
  • Audit logs: at least 365 days (typically longer).

Exact windows may change for legal or operational reasons. See operational docs for job schedules.

5. Security

We use HTTPS, Row Level Security on application tables, server-only privileged keys, and rate limits on public mutations. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents via the About page contact.

6. Your choices

Recruiters may request correction or deletion of submission data that is not required for legal retention. Reporters may omit email. Job seekers browsing publicly are not required to create accounts. For privacy requests, contact the operator through the About page.

7. Children

The Service is intended for adults seeking employment or recruiting for roles. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
